You have begun the search – wait, there is paper here and files there.  This session will provide you with suggested organizational techniques and tools along with file naming conventions and storage options.

This is the third session of a three-part series to get you started on your path to explore your past.  Diane Hart Deci, with a lifelong interest in genealogy, began her research 45 years ago. Her areas of expertise are the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. She has taken multiple genealogical courses through the Wisconsin Historical Society, Georgia Genealogical Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is a member of several lineage societies. As WS DAR state registrar, she has presented numerous genealogical classes. Diane feels very strongly that our ancestors’ history and the history of the communities we live in affect who we are. Diane is retired from Edgewood College where she was the Blackboard System Administrator.
