Steve Penn, Financial Planner with Northwestern Mutual will discuss ways to insure our funds last through our lifetime.  Topics to be discussed include what happens when a spouse dies, what do we do with Required Distributions, what sources of funds should we use first and the tax treatment, and the role of long- term care insurance.   Steve will review the importance of knowing your income and expenses so that we can better determine your future income needs. Come with your questions!

Penn graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a bachelor's degree in economics and a certificate from the Gaylord Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies. Steve joined Northwestern Mutual in 2004, truly enjoys financial planning and continues to pursue his education.

He grew up in Wausau, WI and is now a Middleton native. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, golfing, brewing beer and playing music.

This presentation will be recorded.
